Rule 21
Qualifications for Insurance Agent
(1) According to rule 19, the applicant who wants to apply for insurance agent's license should have the following qualification:-
(a) At least S.L.C. or having passed a similar examination, and
(b) Having participated in the related insurance business training conducted by the committee or an organization recognized by the committee for the insurance agent and received a certificate.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if the applicant who wishes to apply for an insurance agent's license is an organized organization, the qualifications of one of the directors of such organized organization shall be as mentioned in clauses (a) and (b) of the said sub-rule.
